Clinica Rotar proposes a business model that involves a solution of medical excellence, in a warm atmosphere, with an innovative financing system, advantageous both for the patient and for the clinic. The central and primordial element will be the patient's quality of life.
We aim to emphasize the positive transformation in the lives of our patients because through the education we provide, they will discover that good oral health means not only an aesthetic advantage but also a functional one. Throughout the entire process, we will build a lasting emotional relationship with our patients, where they will benefit from honest advice from the doctors and full support from the medical staff.
The updates within the clinic are directed on several levels, encompassing multiple factors that function in a constant synergy, over the long term.
1 / Digital Technology
We have adopted and implemented within the clinic the vast majority of digital protocols available today in dentistry. From data acquisition to virtual planning, through optical impression taking, to the fabrication of personalized products using CAD/CAM techniques, we cover the entire range of professional services in a digital format, which is environmentally friendly.
2 / Cranio-facial pain center
Among oro-facial pains, the most common one with a tendency to become chronic is the one caused by temporomandibular joint pathology. Temporomandibular joint pathology manifests with the following symptoms: oro-facial pain (at rest or during mouth movement), pain in the masticatory muscles, or a combination of both mentioned pains, impaired joint mobility, sounds associated with joint movements, joint and muscle tenderness, headache and neck pain, ear pain, and sounds.
Therefore, considering the complexity and diversity of the systems involved, diagnosing and identifying risk factors becomes the focal point in determining the therapeutic trajectory.
The treatment of oro-facial pain is carried out by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a dentist, oral surgeon, or oral and maxillofacial surgeon, physiotherapist, psychologist. Additionally, the expertise of a neurologist and an ENT specialist is often necessary.
3 / Arrangement of the space dedicated to children
Reducing a child's anxiety related to novelty can be achieved by creating the most attractive and interesting cabinet environment possible.
Thus, the presence of a television transforms the dental experience into something pleasant, especially since watching cartoons is a familiar habit practiced at home. Toys, rewards, colorful sunglasses for protection during treatments are other important elements, indispensable in pediatric dentistry cabinets, as they can redirect the patient's attention and interest towards enjoyable and familiar activities. For patients who experience anxiety related to sounds, headphones are a very important element. Music, cartoons, movies listened to through headphones block out the sounds of dental equipment and distract the patient from less pleasant things. Music therapy is a form of psychotherapy or re-education using music as a means of communication or structuring relationships. By also acting on the neuro-muscular system, all these elements allow the patients to keep their mouth open for much longer without getting tired.
4 / Child Psychology
Depending on the age and cooperation of the pediatric patient, the team consisting of doctor-patient-parent will also include a psychologist who will help prepare the patient to manage anxieties and fears, which may be too overwhelming to handle at home. Thus, parents will have additional assistance in teaching children to manage their emotions and cope better with various situations, not just those specific to dentistry. All of these efforts aim to gradually reduce the need for sedation methods such as inhalation sedation, analgosedation, or general anesthesia.
5 / Speech therapy
Logopedics deals with detecting and correcting speech, language, feeding disorders, and optimizing communication.
Most language disorders occur in children between the ages of 2 and 3 years and preschool age, precisely when language is formed and developed. The effectiveness of correcting language disorders is higher when therapy is started early. It is recommended that speech therapy begins after the age of 3-4 years, as language is still developing until then.
6 / Art exhibitions in the clinic
Clinica Rotar, by intention and vocation, is a place where medical excellence harmoniously blends with the desire to offer patients a unique sensory experience. The clinic hosts works of art distinguished by elegance and refinement, stimulating the imagination and inner beauty of the viewer. Beyond creating a pleasant and soothing environment, the display of these works promotes established Romanian artists or those at the beginning of their journey, who have stood out in the local landscape due to genuine artistic talent.
We are proud and confident that we will facilitate the formation of a quality community, comprised of people who believe in the importance of maintaining impeccable oral health, while also being animated by the desire to connect with individuals who share the same general-human and cultural values.
We are aware that each person, depending on their education and personal sensitivity, as well as the tastes they have cultivated over time, interprets art differently. Nevertheless, we believe that in an environment with artistic qualities, lovers of beauty will find a common ground.
