News Clinica Rotar proposes a business model that involves a solution of medical excellence, in a warm atmosphere , with an innovative financing system, advantageous both for the patient and for the clinic. The central and primordial element will be the patient's quality of life. We aim to emphasize the positive transformation in the lives of our patients because through the education we provide, they will discover that good oral health means not only an aesthetic advantage but also a functional one. Throughout the entire process, we will build a lasting emotional relationship with our patients, where they will benefit from honest advice from the doctors and full support from the medical staff. The updates within the clinic are directed on several levels, encompassing multiple factors that function in a constant synergy , over the long term . 1 / Digital Technology We have adopted and implemented within the clinic the vast majority of digital protocols available today in dentistry. From data acquisition to virtual planning, through optical impression taking, to the fabrication of personalized products using CAD/CAM techniques, we cover the entire range of professional services in a digital format, which is environmentally friendly. 2 / Cranio-facial pain center Among oro-facial pains, the most common one with a tendency to become chronic is the one caused by temporomandibular joint pathology. Temporomandibular joint pathology manifests with the following symptoms: oro-facial pain (at rest or during mouth movement), pain in the masticatory muscles, or a combination of both mentioned pains, impaired joint mobility, sounds associated with joint movements, joint and muscle tenderness, headache and neck pain, ear pain, and sounds. Therefore, considering the complexity and diversity of the systems involved, diagnosing and identifying risk factors becomes the focal point in determining the therapeutic trajectory. The treatment of oro-facial pain is carried out by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a dentist, oral surgeon, or oral and maxillofacial surgeon, physiotherapist, psychologist. Additionally, the expertise of a neurologist and an ENT specialist is often necessary. 3 / Arrangement of the space dedicated to children Reducing a child's anxiety related to novelty can be achieved by creating the most attractive and interesting cabinet environment possible. Thus, the presence of a television transforms the dental experience into something pleasant, especially since watching cartoons is a familiar habit practiced at home. Toys , rewards , colorful sunglasses for protection during treatments are other important elements, indispensable in pediatric dentistry cabinets, as they can redirect the patient's attention and interest towards enjoyable and familiar activities. For patients who experience anxiety related to sounds, headphones are a very important element. Music , cartoons , movies listened to through headphones block out the sounds of dental equipment and distract the patient from less pleasant things. Music therapy is a form of psychotherapy or re-education using music as a means of communication or structuring relationships. By also acting on the neuro-muscular system, all these elements allow the patients to keep their mouth open for much longer without getting tired. 4 / Child Psychology Depending on the age and cooperation of the pediatric patient, the team consisting of doctor-patient-parent will also include a psychologist who will help prepare the patient to manage anxieties and fears, which may be too overwhelming to handle at home. Thus, parents will have additional assistance in teaching children to manage their emotions and cope better with various situations, not just those specific to dentistry. All of these efforts aim to gradually reduce the need for sedation methods such as inhalation sedation, analgosedation, or general anesthesia. 5 / Speech therapy Logopedics deals with detecting and correcting speech, language, feeding disorders, and optimizing communication. Most language disorders occur in children between the ages of 2 and 3 years and preschool age, precisely when language is formed and developed. The effectiveness of correcting language disorders is higher when therapy is started early. It is recommended that speech therapy begins after the age of 3-4 years, as language is still developing until then. 6 / Art exhibitions in the clinic Clinica Rotar, by intention and vocation, is a place where medical excellence harmoniously blends with the desire to offer patients a unique sensory experience. The clinic hosts works of art distinguished by elegance and refinement, stimulating the imagination and inner beauty of the viewer. Beyond creating a pleasant and soothing environment, the display of these works promotes established Romanian artists or those at the beginning of their journey, who have stood out in the local landscape due to genuine artistic talent. We are proud and confident that we will facilitate the formation of a quality community, comprised of people who believe in the importance of maintaining impeccable oral health, while also being animated by the desire to connect with individuals who share the same general-human and cultural values. We are aware that each person, depending on their education and personal sensitivity, as well as the tastes they have cultivated over time, interprets art differently. Nevertheless, we believe that in an environment with artistic qualities, lovers of beauty will find a common ground.

- Design | Clinica Rotar
Design The medical activity takes place in a new building located in the center of Cluj-Napoca Municipality, on 21 December 1989 Boulevard, one of the most emblematic thoroughfares of the city, which, following recent modernizations, has become an important landmark for high-quality public space. The building consists of two connected structures through a charming inner courtyard: a main building facing the boulevard, housing the clinic's main functions, and a secondary building at the southern end, accommodating related functions. The aesthetics of the building blend harmoniously with the public space, with the elegant lines of the main volume facing the boulevard seamlessly integrating into the built environment. Within the main building, functions are grouped into distinct areas: the ground floor houses a spacious reception area, with large windows facing the boulevard, dominated by the elegance of a reception desk made of natural agate stone and a spectacular lighting installation, consisting of handcrafted translucent glass elements. The reception area continues into a relaxation space for visitors, which opens onto the inner courtyard and creates a pleasant atmosphere in an intimate setting. The 1st floor is dedicated to children, who benefit from specialized cabinets and a specially designed waiting area. Additionally, the radiology and photo studio are also located here. The 2nd and 3rd floors host cabinets for various dental specialties, treatment rooms, and related spaces, all organized around the central circulation hub - a staircase and a lift accessible to persons with disabilities. On the top floor, there are offices for management and administrative staff. All spaces on the upper floors offer valuable perspectives of the city through bright windows and spacious terraces that open both towards the public domain and the inner courtyard. The secondary building houses a dental technology laboratory and a lecture hall, both accessible to visitors from the inner courtyard. The elegant and simple aesthetics of the building add value and a new identity to the urban landscape. The attention to detail and refinement of the interior design, given by exclusively natural stone and wood finishes, reflect the principle of quality, which is evident throughout the clinic's approach, both in terms of the built environment and medical practice.

- Dr. Raul Ghiurca | Clinica Rotar
Dr. Raul Ghiurca | Clinica Rotar Medic specialist chirurgie dento-alveolară (Cluj-Napoca, 2022) Facultatea de Medicină Dentară (UMF „Iuliu Hațieganu” Cluj-Napoca, 2018), Specializare Chirurgie Dento-Alveolară (Cluj-Napoca, 2022) Dr. Raul Ghiurca Specialist in Dento-Alveolar Surgery (Cluj-Napoca, 2022) Faculty of Dental Medicine (UMF "Iuliu Hațieganu" Cluj-Napoca, 2018), Specialization in Dento-Alveolar Surgery (Cluj-Napoca, 2022) About I couldn't function without passions, fortunately, I have quite a few. I've been playing drums since my teenage years, being a founding member of two active rock bands. When I'm not on stage, you can definitely find me by the side of a fishing lake, together with my fishing club partners. And when there's an occasional free weekend left, I prefer to photograph nature. Clinical Experience I started clinical practice in the private sector immediately after completing my degree (2018), and with the residency program (2020), I also practice in the hospital environment. Over the years, I have developed a passion for the field of restorative dentistry and dentoalveolar surgery, along with their related aspects. Since 2019, I have successfully incorporated digital occlusal analysis (T-Scan) into my practice. Personal Thoughts The field of dentistry is undergoing continuous transformation, with major trends overshadowing purely medical aspects. I exhibit a degree of caution regarding anything that might contaminate the profession with superficial elements. I have always guided my career in a vertical manner, without compromises. I believe that our daily goal should be to offer patients an assumed, high-quality medical act.
- Oral and Prosthetics Rehabilitation | Clinica Rotar
The treatments for oral rehabilitation and prosthetics Oral health is an integral part of our overall health and should be a priority, yet it is often left unresolved or postponed, leading to extensive dental wear and even tooth loss. Oral rehabilitation is the process aimed at restoring the integrity and functionality of the dento-maxillary apparatus (teeth, periodontium, bones, muscles, temporomandibular joint), which may be altered by various inherited or acquired conditions. Dr. Medeea Tălmăceanu, Dr. Daniel Tălmăceanu, Dr. Sandra Gorcea, Dr. Anca But, Dr. Vlad Băncescu, and Dr. Raul Ghiurca form our team that performs complex oral rehabilitations. These specialists, like our entire team, share a working philosophy that prioritizes quality and planning time in every treatment. They are the ones who often have a comprehensive vision of cases involving various dentistry specialties, working with a common goal: restoring harmony in the oral cavity, both functionally and aesthetically, with long-lasting results. The process begins with the accurate diagnosis of the changes present in all components of this dento-maxillary complex, from the temporomandibular joint and muscles to the enamel or gingival texture, assessing the health status of the maxillary and alveolar bones, periodontal support, dental pulp, hard dental structures, and occlusion (bite). All these components, similar to any mechanical complex, are closely interrelated. Addressing unilaterally some of these components, without having the perspective of the whole, can be useful but is often insufficient. The investigation of conditions affecting the dento-maxillary complex is conducted through both clinical examinations and the use of modern technologies (intraoral 3D scanning, volumetric tomographies, computerized recordings of joint movements, 3D simulations of aesthetics and proportions), aiming to identify all changes resulting from inherited or acquired conditions (tooth loss, changes in their position, dental wear, etc.). Oral rehabilitation is a complex process involving all subspecialties of dentistry, both in the investigation phase and in the treatment phase. It is a multidisciplinary effort through which the patient regains the functionality of their teeth, chewing ability, as well as aesthetic function, the smile, with stable results over time. Modern dentistry increasingly incorporates this process of oral rehabilitation due to the broad perspective it entails, but especially because of the long-term stable results generated by achieving aesthetic and functional balance among all components of the dento-maxillary apparatus. The future of modern dentistry is represented by conservative dentistry , whose primary goal is to preserve as much as possible of the patient's biological structures (enamel, dentin, bone, soft tissue). Minimally invasive treatments are an integral part of this approach. Supported by technological advancements and materials science, minimally invasive treatments have been clinically and scientifically validated in recent years, becoming widely adopted in current practice. Minimally invasive techniques are implemented only for incipient lesions, using modern technologies such as optical microscopy, therapeutic lasers, and digital planning, which allow for high precision, useful in differentiating and preserving healthy tissue. All dental subspecialties have incorporated computerized and minimally invasive techniques, providing patients with both comfort and faster recovery following treatment. They are also available in our clinic.
